Sesión de Habilidades Socioemocionais no IES Parga Pondal con Vieiro
Segue sobrevivindo a Asociación Vieiro, a pesar das dificultades. Pero a necesidade dunha entidade coma esta, sen ánimo de lucro, que loite contra a problemática das drogas, é fundamental para o desenvolvemento san da nosa mocidade. Así, dentro da programación de prevención no ámbito educativo, a Asociación bergantiñá está impariendo o programa de habilidades socioemocionales no IES Parga Pondal de Carballo. Este programa que comezou o pasado 23 de febreiro, está destinado a adolescentes con idades comprendidas entre os 12 e os 16 anos que cursan ensino secundario, mozos que se atopan en pleno proceso de desenvolvemento físico e emocional e empezan a tomar decisións que marcarán o resto da súa vida.
Este programa consiste en realizar un taller de aprendizaxe teórica-práctico co obxectivo de aprender ou modificar, segundo cada caso, as habilidades socio-emocionais dos participantes a través da instrución teórica de conceptos craves e a posta en práctica, tanto en clase como na vida real.
As habilidades socioemocionais, refírense, a grandes liñas, a un conxunto de condutas aprendidas de forma natural que se manifestan en situacións interpersonais. Isto quere dicir que non nacemos con estas habilidades senón que temos o potencial de adquirilas e desenvolvelas ao longo da vida.
A particularidade das habilidades socioemocionais no ámbito escolar radica en que contribúen a transformar, fortalecer e mellorar as relacións entre os membros da comunidade: non só entre estudantes e docentes senón tamén entre os propios estudantes e os propios docentes.
As habilidades socioemocionales non buscan nin poden erradicar as situacións de risco pero si poden moldear e transformar as actitudes e condutas cara a esas situacións. É dicir, estas habilidades se enfocan en adestrar aos alumnos/as para tomar as mellores decisións para a súa vida, coñecerse mellor, desenvolver empatía polos demais e relacións positivas.
A competencia socioemocional é un comportamento social-interpersonal que resulta efectivo para obter resultados positivos da contorna social dun xeito pacífico e respetuosa cos dereitos e opcións das outras persoas da contorna. Dise dunha persoa que é competente social e emocionalmente cando mostra un trato fácil cos demais, sabe facer amigos, afronta sen especial dificultade as relacións e conflitos que xorden, conversa con fluidez e sen tropezos, expresa os seus puntos de vista e desacuerdos sen que os demais síntanse atacados, sabe dicir “non” e rexeita ofrecimientos dos amigos que lle resultan perigosos sen que estes síntanse feridos ou menosprezados, sabe chegar a acordos, tolera ben o que exista desacuerdo e atrévese a manter opcións diferentes ás dos amigos, valórase positivamente e é respetuoso coas opcións diferentes ás súas.
Dende Vieiro consideran “o desenvolvemento de habilidades socioemocionais como unha estratexia integral para previr condutas de risco, reducir a violencia escolar, e adestrar aos mozos para que tomen decisións de xeito asertiva e responsable”.
