La asociación Vieiro, con sede en Carballo, dio a conocer ayer el programa Desconecta, referente a las nuevas tecnologías. Entiende la entidad que han venido a revolucionar el estilo de vida y, particularmente, el de adolescentes y jóvenes, por lo que ven necesarias estrategias formativas y preventivas enmarcadas en el ámbito educativo.
Así, Desconecta tiene como fin prevenir el uso excesivo de las nuevas tecnologías; fomentar la práctica y adquisición de hábitos saludables alternativos; mostrar las ventajas y los riegos de estas herramientas e ilustrar también sobre lo que es afición y lo que es adicción. El programa está a disposición de todos los centros educativos interesados, que podrían derivar así alumnos para sesiones formativo-preventivas, de carácter teórico y práctico.
