Un total de ocho entidades sociales y deportivas de Carballo desenvolverán este año diversos proyectos en favor de los colectivos más desfavorecidos y/o en riesgo de exclusión gracias a la aportación económica que, un año más, acaba de realizar Caixabank, a través de la Obra Social La Caixa.
Las ayudas, que ascienden a 53.000 euros, se conocieron ayer en un encuentro organizado en el Concello de Carballo y al que acudieron el alcalde, Evencio Ferreiro, la concejal de Igualdad, Maica Ures, el nuevo director del área de negocio de La Caixa de A Coruña, José Carlos Cobas, así como los representantes de las ocho asociaciones beneficiarias. La aportación principal fue para la asociación de padres discapacitados psíquicos de Bergantiños, ASPABER, con una ayuda de 12.000 euros destinada a la creación de una unidad educativa para usuarios de 3 a 6 años. El resto de ayudas se repartieron entre Afaber con 8.000 euros, la misma cantidad para Vieiro, asociación pro enfermos mentales de A Coruña y Bergantiños FC-Escolas de fútbol Luis Calvo Sanz; cuatro mil para Un Paso Máis, tres mil para Aloumiños y dos mil para la Asociación de niños oncológicos.
